The beaches of Cadaqués are divided into two areas, the ones in the urban center of Cadaqués and the ones in Portlligat. There are beaches of golden sand, dark sand, white sand, and almost all of them have all kinds of services, many of them with excellent anchorages, like Sur de Portlligat and Es-Pianc, this last one with a view of the Bay. Another very visited beach is S'Alqueria, which is a nudist beach.

The coast of Cadaques, with a priceless scenery with impressive cliffs, hidden coves and small islands, is known by scuba divers as a subaquatic paradise for its spectacular submarine wealth. In the point of Cap de Creus is the mythical Faro de Creus lighthouse.

Besides the outdoor activities, Cadaqués offers numerous historical attractions, like the Casa Museo Salvador Dalí at the Portlligat Bay, which is an unavoidable visit, the Casco Antiguo, the Santa Maria Church, the Natural Park of Cabo Creus, where there's a lot of species of protected plants and animals, because they are unique in the world. It's the only one in Spain to have two areas: a terrestrial and a maritime one, and it covers approximately 14,000 hectares.
